Dr. Carr attended the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular & Cell Biology and in Psychology. After working at a healthcare-related internet start-up in San Francisco for two years, she attended New York Medical College, where she graduated with honors in 2001. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at UCLA. She completed her rheumatology fellowship at UCLA in 2006. She is currently in private practice in Beverly Hills and on the faculty of Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Carr and her husband, Elan, live in Los Angeles with their three children.
